I got a letter from my donor family.  I thought long and hard about it and have decided to contact them back.  I'm not sure what to expect, but I think I owe it to them to at least say thanks and let them know who got their son's lungs 5 years ago.

Also, I go see the cardiologist on Thursday to discuss the ongoing blood pressure issue.  I'm hoping he'll offer some medication that's cheaper than what I'm currently taking.

I visited Vandy yesterday for my checkup.  Had bloodwork drawn and am awaiting the results.  My bloodpressure is down and  my weight is up.  Go figure.  I also visited the dermatologist while I was there.  She removed a 5mm growth from my scalp and sent it off for biopsy.  Should have results in about 7~10 days.

I go see the dermatologist tomorrow about some new spots that have appeared on my face and head.  Melanoma is a big issue while on the anti-rejection meds so they insist on checking out everything.

I've been having some trouble keeping my blood pressure under control. The docs are trying me on a couple new meds and I'm scheduled to see a specialist here soon. Just pray that I don't have a stroke or MI in the meantime. Thanks. transplant.gif
